Ian was born on the 30^th October 1979 in County Durham but has lived near chorley in the north west of england all his life. Ians hobbies include golf, mountain biking, karting and radio controlled models. Ians interest in motorsport started out with when he was a small child watching rallying and circuit racing with his family, he soon became hooked to the point of it taking over his life completely. Ian spends almost all his time at the countries race circuits as he also works as a professional racing instructor and driver coach.
